Mitch Murder – Interceptor

Synthwave.  A genre I’ve recently discovered but always knew about.  More of you know about this music than you think.  It dominated everything in the 80’s, music, TV, film.  Everything had some sort of Synthwave sound flowing through it.  80’s Synthwave revival is getting bigger and bigger and with labels like Mad Decent now releasing albums for artists through their stable, this just could be the next big scene to blow up!

This epic 8 bit powerhouse of a track by Mitch Murder is the perfect introduction.  Gritty, moody, atmospheric  Yet at the same time beautiful and haunting.  There is no “drop”, no build up so to speak of.   These tracks just flow and keep changing up, keeping things interesting by subtly suckering you in with perfect frequency synth-melodies.

I love this genre and will be writing a LOT more about it!
