Jon Bellion – The Definition ALBUM REVIEW

Sometimes this job is exceptionally easy. If the music is good enough, the inspiration for anything we would care to do just pours out from within. Everything becomes elevated, emotions run wild, the hairs on your neck stand on end and endorphins flood the body. Good music is like a drug, it’s addictive, you want more and more and you won’t stop until you find that perfect track, that perfect high.

So what happens when an album like this comes along? An album where every track, every note and every lyric bombards the ears and the senses with track after track of beautiful, awe inspiring, thought provoking music? I’ll tell you what happens; the body goes into sensory overload and experiences of a veritable eargasm of pleasure.

That is exactly what is brought to the table with Jon Bellions fantastic album, The Definition. It’s a Electro Pop extravaganza of the highest calibre with a nice dose of Hip Hop and 80’s power ballad flare thrown in. A hell of a lot of effort has been put into this album. Instrumentals and beats are note perfect, the lyrics breathtakingly conceived with the messages hidden within poignant and impacting.

The album is a roller coaster of highs and lows, excitement and trepidation, hopes and fears and reality and dreams. Jon Bellion is unashamedly honest song writer and nothing is held back.

These days, an album that you can put in, hit play and just sit back an enjoy in whole is a rare thing. This is one of them. The other brilliant thing, Jon has very kindly made the album free for download. This is an album that should be heard and now there is no excuse not to!

Stand out tracks on the album for me? All of them but Carry Your Thrown has to be my favorite!

  1. Greetings! Quick question that’s entirely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone4.
I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might
be able to resolve this problem. If you have any recommendations, please
    share. Appreciate it!
